MBFW 6: Kahlo

Last but not least, Kahlo definitely stole the show with dark leathers and geometrical cutting. With a dark, mysterious atmosphere made spookier with the leather brassieres, flowing whites and tight fitting skirts.  Many of clothes are so versatile and could be worn on the runway and in street style! Hope you enjoyed my wrap on the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, one of my favourite times of the year!

Denim effect fabric is perfect for the oncoming denim trend!

Halter neck style is great for showing of great shoulders.

Want this shear tank top!  Would go perfectly with my silver One Teaspoon brassiere.

MBFW 5: Bec & Bridge

Looking at these images I felt as though I was on a cloud!  White, white, white filled the room and the occasion black took place on some garments.  Bec & Bridge has mastered the art of creating simplistic designs and this was the main focus of their collection.  Simple but effective were the pieces and they were made even better with the subtle shades of pale blue and some tight knits.   This range has only reinforced my love on minimalism!

MBFW POST 4: Karla Spetic

Shear mesh cut-outs, white and crisp, silk and lace are the words that spring to mind when the Karla Spetic collection was released.  Have to admit these words make my ears prick up as you may have sensed my love on minimalism!  This show was definitely minimalism at it's best!

Love the bare middle cut-out.

Boy and Girl: boyish collared shirt paired with a cute girly full skirt!

Shear T-Shirt with brassiere showing through and a touch of lace made a devine outfit!

Not usually a fan of lace, but this works so well.

Cut-out features on the neck and shear rectangle down the front of the skirt add design and interest to th garments!

WANT this jumpsuit sooooo much!

MBFW POST 3: Christopher Esber

Christopher Esber has been one of my most loved designers for a while now and is a great Australian fashion designer.  This collection had the usual clean cut shapes and he has stuck to the shades of black and white.  He has mastered the talent of creating clothes with black and white fabric yet there has never been a boring garment produced!  Do you agree?

With the likes of Lara Bingle, Phoebe Tonkin and Christine Centenera watching on, this was the show of the night!

MBFW POST 2: Alice McCall

Full of flowing silks and a clean colour scheme, this collection has made my favourite list!  Alice McCall had a runway full of leggy models showing of the beautiful designs of neutral colours and a hint of some blacks and intricate patterns.  I particularly love this range as the garments are wearable off and on the runway as they are appropriate for many occasions.  Talk about versatile!  Take a look!

MBFW POST 1: Kym Ellery

Fashion Week in Australia has to be one of the most amazing times of the year as we are showcased so many beautiful new trends and garments and get a glimpse of the fabulous Australian street style!  How lucky are we!  Now, I may not have attended the shows but my dream is to be sitting in the prestigious front row seats one day!  

Anyway, enough of me, here is a collection of designs from Kym Ellery's range that were my absolute favourites.

Julia Nobis in a crisp white dress accompanied by more fur!
