I'm pretty sure you can tell from my choice of posts, but I have to admit I love a bit of androgynous dressing.  This editorial is a favourite due to the perfect menswear styling and of course Kasia who rocks this trend.

market day haul...

I walked to a local market day about 5 minutes from my house this morning and found some great buys!  I am constantly inspired by the beachy lifestyle that surrounds me which influenced my purchases for the day! Above are my new flared pants! Yes, flared pants!  They have been the style trend that has caught my eye recently and I couldn't believe I found these All That Remains pair in a boutique on the outskirts of the markets.  I first noticed this trend when Hanne Gabby Odiele  styled her own editorial for Russh magazine featuring the amazing Ellery pair. I also purchased this bargain cotton t-shirt that is so comfy to wear!  I found it hiding away at a Lee Mathews store and instantly loved it.

My last find was a cotton, lightweight t-shirt dress.  An essential pice for the coming summe, perfect over a bikini as I have worn here and bright shoes (like clogs as shown above) and jewelry to add some colour! (Like these ones here)

I have to admit I have a few too many denim pieces in my wardrobe that include overalls, skirts and shorts.  This editorial is fully loaded with denim in many designs I'm sure you wouldn't have even thought possible for making with denim!  

I hope this inspires you to go and purchase some denim garments or even distress a daggy pair of your dads jeans like I did haha XX

Many people seem to think brights colours are only suitable for summer and spring, but for me I believe
the neon lipstick trend could be around all year long!  My pick if you are going to try out some beautiful brights are tangerine orange and candy pink.  Cute huh!  Many celebrities, models and designers are incorporating this trend into their lifestyles and are loving it, be brave and give it a go!

hello shorty!

Elle Ferguson has been a large fashion inspiration for me for quite some time now!  One of the reasons for this, is her ability to make shorts seem so classy and even suitable for fashion weeks!  Below are a collection of stylings by Elle herself that she has posted either on her Insagram ( @elle_ferguson ) or on her well-known blog with bestfriend Tash Sefton ( www.theyallhateus.com ).  

She is constantly wearing shorts and is a big fan of distressed denim with rips and basic blacks!

Braided and Beautiful

Braided hair speaks freedom, relaxed and that you are never going to grow up!  This look can even been transferred to the runway as shown in the images below and is not only limited to those beach days when you never leave the sea side...  It turns out that braids and plaits can actually be quite classy and fashionable and I will definitely be one to jump onto this trend!

Miroslava Duma shows that the look can be well suited to street style and Valentino displays use of this look in many of their runway shows! Enjoy X
