Apologies for the lack of posting, school, exams, birthdays hint hint and life in general got in the way... so here's a super inspo post featuring some of my favourite things that keep me going! 

So what have I been up to lately?  I've been planning my formal outfit which has occupied many of my hours for the last few weeks and I am in love with my gold silk sip dress!  Ahh such a dream come true to wear this kind of dress.  Celebrating my birthday tonight with my family and loving all the flowers I received which are making my room smell delicious!  

Oh and here's a quick shout-out to Leo who is a fellow November birthday-ian.  Take a flashback to the good old days...

Love this editorial featuring my all time favourite girl, Karlie.  She suits the short blonde bod so well, don't you think? And, she can even make sandals and socks look good paired with couture gowns, I never thought I'd see it...

The infamous shear slip dress, worn by Kate Moss of course. 

 She has been my inspiration for the idea I had for my formal dress! Kate even wore the white beaded slip dress on her wedding day!  So, I have decided to wear a Satin Chartreuse mid length slip dress to my formal... Everyone is opting for the more 'cupcake' dress style and I reckon they are so overused for every single party event, so I wanted to be a bit different.  Hoping to style this with think dainty jewelry and thin blacked strapped heels. Post coming soon on my favourite dress :)

Have to admit after all the controversy over Karlie's very slim frame and Victoria's Secret, she still holds the number one position in my mind.  Her facial structure, personality on set and lovely long limbs are what she has become known for.  And don't you think she just rocks the new shorter hair!  This editorial I feel shows a different side of Karlie and is made even better in black and white! 

P.S. she has been confirmed to be walking in the VS show this year, can't wait...

After one week back at school, I have to admit I am ready for holidays to come around again!  I loved have endless hours in the days to do whatever I wished without due dates or stress.  I found myself planting my new catus', taking dips at the beach and completing a craft project I'll share with you in a few weeks... I was getting out of bed at about 10am and breakfast around 12 if that even counts?!

I'm also loving the new summery tunes out now from Jack Johnson, Vance Joy, Haim, Lorde and James Blunt.  What have you been listening to- I'm always eager to hear about new music!
